CMA board chairman James Ndegwa through a letter to staff said that Shamiah’s confirmation comes after approval from the National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani.
“I am delighted to advise you that following an open and competitive recruitment process, the Cabinet Secretary National Treasury and Planning Ukur Yatani, has approved the appointment of Wyckliffe Shamiah as the Chief Executive Officer of the Capital Markets Authority, ” said Ndegwa.
