Equity Bank has received two ISO certifications – ISO 27001:2023 for Information Security Management and ISO 20000-1:2018 for Service Management.These accolades the lender says highlight its steadfast commitment to upholding international standards in both security and service delivery.

These internationally recognized certifications validate the bank’s unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest standards of information security and service management.

ISO certification is a recognition that acknowledges adherence to best practices across a range of disciplines. In particular, the ISO 27001:2023 certification highlights the bank’s robust approach to safeguarding customer data, and ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability in an increasingly digital world.

On the other hand, the ISO 20000-1:2018 certification underscores Equity Bank’s commitment to delivering high-quality IT services that meet the ever-evolving needs of its customers.

Its CEO James Mwangi emphasized the significance of these certifications as part of the bank’s continuous improvement efforts.
