“We believe that everyone deserves to have the Galaxy experience and to
enjoy the latest technology when it comes to smartphones. This
is why we have partnered with Safaricom for the annual Open day in order
to ensure that all Kenyans across the country can access the
latest Samsung Galaxy smartphones” Said Samsung Director Mobile Experience
Mr. Charles Kimari. He further went on to add “At Samsung we have
a smartphone for everyone starting from the Galaxy A03 that will be selling
at 12,999 shillings during the sale all the way to the Noteworthy
Galaxy S22 Ultra that will be selling at 144,999 shillings during the
sale”.
Samsung sells the highest number of smartphones of any manufacturer across
the globe, with the A series being the most popular smartphone in Africa and
in Kenya. The uptake for the 2022 A-series in Kenya has been quite high in
the last couple of years due to different avenues that Samsung has taken to
ensure that the devices get on-to the hands of the people. One of the
avenues is the pay- as -you -use method that allows customers to buy the
phone and pay a small amount every day. The other avenue is through
partnerships with telco’s such as Safaricom for the annual Open day.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 series which is part of the Safaricom open day sale
offers ground-breaking technology, from pro-grade camera and video
technology, Samsung’s first 4nm processor which takes performance to new
speeds, and a Galaxy S22 Ultra battery that can last two days. The Galaxy
S22 Series includes the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra,
which is integrated with fan-favourite Note series and built-in S Pen.
Together they offer unparalleled performance, are equipped with an image
sensor that is larger than even the celebrated Galaxy S21 Series, along with
a host of innovative camera features like Nightography designed to break the
rules of light, and enhanced with incredibly intuitive and pioneering AI
technology.
All Samsung Galaxy smartphones acquired during the Safaricom open day will
be eligible for Samsung Care+. This allows for one screen repair for every
smartphone purchased for a period of one year. Samsung customers are
encouraged to register for Samsung Care+ immediately after making their
purchase as the registration window closes two months after purchase.
