Isuzu opens Sh3.1bn spare parts hub in Lukenya

Motor dealer Isuzu East Africa has opened a Sh3.1 billion parts distribution centre (PDC) in Lukenya, Machakos County, aimed at boosting access to genuine vehicle parts and improving logistics across the region.

Located along Mombasa Road, the new facility is expected to serve dealers, stockists, mechanics, and vehicle owners, supporting the company’s aftersales support network.

Isuzu EA Chair and Managing Director Rita Kavashe said the centre aligns with the firm’s broader strategy to make genuine parts more accessible at the local level and enhance automotive service delivery.

“This facility is a key milestone in our efforts to expand aftersales support and improve service delivery across Kenya and beyond,” she said.

Investment, Trade, and Industry Cabinet Secretary Lee Kinyanjui, who officiated the launch, lauded Isuzu’s investment in local automotive manufacturing, terming it a boost to Kenya’s industrialization and regional trade goals.
