Zetech University Vice Chancellor Prof Njenga Munene recently launched his Autobiography named ‘Rooted in Hope’ at the serene Mang’u Technology Park.
In a glitzy event that featured Kenya’s brightest minds, Prof Munene shares his journey of life, from a village boy in an unknown school in rural Kenya to a university don and a Vice Chancelor of one of Kenya’s prestigious universities.
Prof. Njenga Munene, a seasoned academic and Vice Chancellor of Zetech University explores the theme of self-improvement as a sustainable strategy.
It was as busy day for the academic giant as he signed hundreds of autographs, selling a considerable number of books to his eager friends.
The event was graced by Dr Esther Muchemi, group chief executive of Samchi Group of companies. who was the chief guest.
In her address, she emphasized the need for having a strategy in life. Congratulating the Prof for launching his maiden biography, she said she is a recipient of a doctorate degree from Zetech University, a fete that she confessed allowed her to thrive as an entrepreneur.
The book explores various themes and chronicles his life’s journey, detailing his triumphs and setbacks and his enduring spirit that has carried him across many a storm.
Also in attendance was former education CS Professor Jacob Kaimenyi among other dignitaries.
