Showdown is expected at Bukhungu stadium tomorrow as Gor Mahia Youth FC face Kapenguria Heroes in the boys National Grand Finale of the Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom Youth tournament.
Gor Mahia edged out Mukumu boys to qualify for finals scoring 3:1 despite playing one-man less after their key striker Dickson Omwenga got a red card for rough play. It was a tough call for both sides that sought dominance in the game played in a fully packed Bukhungu stadium.
“The game was tensed and so tough for us since we were one –man less. Our captain, who is also our key player, did not play since he got a red card in our previous game. This was not easy but we did our best. We will face our opponents tomorrow in the finals with courage and hope to triumph,” said Otieno Selassie, Striker, Gor Mahia Youth FC.
