Safaricom Twaweza Live has today flagged off its third edition in Voi, Taita Taveta County. The coast takeover is part of a series which began in the Rift region in May , followed by Mt.Kenya and North Eastern in June.
The Safaricom Twaweza live experience is a 6 month long campaign bringing change to various communities across Kenya through the Twaweza spirit of connecting people to people, people to knowledge and people to opportunity.
Through the 10 day period, the Twaweza caravan will be passing through various towns to educate customers about Safaricom’s products and services, as well as launching 2 new Base Stations in Taveta and Watamu respectively. On 20th July this Friday, there will be followed by a local talent search at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic in search for a musician, hype master and Deejay who will get a chance to grace the Twaweza live concert stage on Saturday, 28th of July.
On 27th July there will be two major events taking place, BLAZE BYOB Summit at Mombasa sports club and a free medical camp in Shanzu.
