Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) through its flagship brand Tusker hosted its first edition of the Grill Master last Saturday at K1 Klub House.
Consumers were treated to a range of Kenyan meat pairings, fun beer experiences coupled with great entertainment and rewarded with Tusker branded merchandize.
The artist lineup included ‘2 in 1’ hit maker Naiboi, supported by Afro pop artist Kagwe Mungai and veteran DJ Nijo who is also a much sought after MC.
Consumers got a chance to interact with popular Radio Jambo presenters Mbusih and Lion who kept the revelers up on their feet dancing to a host of popular Reggae hits from across the globe. The duo has been running a radio campaign dubbed ‘Tusker na Marafiki’.
The activation rallies listeners to call in or share relatable Tusker na Nyama experiences on their digital pages for a chance to hang out with the two presenters during a Tusker activation.
“Beer and food is a combination that Kenyan consumers enjoy when they come together over a Tusker, to savour their bonds of friendship and draw on the support & fellowship of their friends who help them thrive,” said Christine Mwaura, Marketing Manager Tusker Trademark Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL).
She added that as Kenya’s National beer, Tusker is brewed by Kenyans for Kenyans, it’s crisply refreshing, perfectly balanced and a perfect combination with food, especially Nyama.
The entry mechanic required consumers to pay an entry fee of Kshs. 500 redeemable for two Tusker beers and was limited to consumers above the age of 18 years old in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
